7.45: Everton have told Chelsea to include Michy Batshuayi in any bid for Romelu Lukaku.
Chelsea want to bring Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge this summer as they prepare for a return to the Champions League.
Everton have priced Lukaku at £100m after signing him from Chelsea for £32m in 2014.
But now, according to Team Talk, the Toffees are keen to include the Belgian striker in the deal.
04:55: Real Madrid president Florentino Perez reportedly considers Eden Hazard’s injury blow an advantage in their summer pursuit.
Chelsea’s star forward is being chased for a world-record move, with Zinedine Zidane intent on capturing the 26-year-old.
Hazard’s ankle fracture though suffered on Sunday is set to keep him sidelined for between two and three months, delaying the Belgium international’s start to next season.
However, according to Spanish outlet Don Balon, Perez is now plotting to wait until as late as the last week in August to make his move.
The little time for negotiations is apparently seen as an opportunity, not a setback, to the Madrid chief, who would be in a stronger position financially when it comes to negotiations.
02:20: Chelsea now face competition not only from Manchester United but Bayern Munich too for Romelu Lukaku, reports claim.
The Everton hitman is a key target for the Blues this summer.
But he will prove costly as the Toffees are demanding £100m for the goalscorer’s services.
And Chelsea have further problems in their ongoing pursuit with Bundesliga giants Bayern joining the race, according to Manchester Evening News.
It is said the striker’s future will ‘soon be fixed’.
And Lukaku’s father, Roger, is apparently particularly receptive to a move to Bayern.
02:00: Antonio Conte is reportedly confident of sealing a reunion with Leonardo Bonucci.
Manchester City are keen on the Juventus star too with Pep Guardiola said to be a fan of the experienced Italy international.
However, Chelsea boss Conte knows Bonucci well from his time in Italy.
And according to The Sun, the Blues manager is determined to lure the defender to Stamford Bridge.
A four-year deal worth around £115,000 a week is apparently being prepared for the 30-year-old.
01:40: Chelsea have reportedly made initial enquiries over Jerome Boating.
The Bayern Munich centre-half is being considered as a potential option to strengthen Antonio Conte’s defence.
The Blues boss wants to bolster his backline ahead of Chelsea’s return to Champions League football.
And according to the Daily Mail, the Premier League champions have conducted early approaches for Germany international Boateng.
Southampton’s Virgil van Dijk is Chelsea’s No1 target but Liverpool appear to have won the battle for him, meaning alternatives are being looked at.
